Job Overview

Production operators are responsible for following Passione Pizza written Recipes, Procedures, and Safety Guidelines, while creating the pizza product we are producing for the public. You will create dough from scratch, divide and weigh dough, round dough, create pizza, finish pizza with appropriate toppings, package product and store for final product storage. All Standards of Practice, and Good Manufacturing procedures need to be followed during this process.

It is your responsibility to clean and maintain your work space, following cleaning schedules and preventative maintenance schedules. You will clean your area both before and after your shift using the highest hygienic practices. This includes waste removal to the bins located on the exterior portion of the building. You’re responsible to come to work clean, following the dress code and ready to work on time.

Food Safety and Quality

As an employee with Passione Pizza, it is your responsibility to be aware and informed about the food safety and quality standards we uphold. It is your job to always report any non-conformities associated with food safety, and food quality through proper documentation to your SQF Practitioner so they can be addressed immediately.

Absentee Backup:

Production Schedules are created so there are always a full staff of production operators scheduled to cover the production demands. If a production operator is out, there is sufficient staff to cover. If more than one production operator is out, there is a list of part time and contract employees who are trained to come in and cover the position if their replacement is needed to meet demands.

Packing and Sanitation employees are also trained to complete all Production Operator job duties and can assist on the production line if staffing becomes short.

Previous Experience:

Minimum 1 year relevant baking experience preferred, but can train a great attitude!

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
