Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Civil Engineering team leader focused on private land development to join our organization and lead the expansion of our office in Long Beach, California. As a prominent player in the industry, we have a vast portfolio of civil engineering projects in the Southern California area, which are currently managed from our offices in Northern California, Oregon, and Washington. We are excited about the addition of our Civil Engineering division which will complement our existing Energy division and establish a strong presence in the Southern California region. For the right candidate, we will consider establishing another office location within the Southern California/Los Angeles market. This is a great opportunity to take the lead in building a robust department where success is not only celebrated but also rewarded.

  



Pay is DOE: $120,000-$180,000+/year + Sign-On Bonus

Senior Civil Project Manager Job Responsibilities:


* Lead and grow our Long Beach office to establish a strong civil engineering presence in Southern California
* Independently manage teams, winning contracts, and ensuring successful project delivery
* Regularly be present in the office, fostering collaboration and team engagement
* Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, actively seeking and developing new business opportunities
* Manage existing work in the Southern California area, ensuring exceptional project execution and client satisfaction
* Prepare written proposals, scopes of work, and budgets.
* Act as the main point of contact for your clients and be responsible for all project related items.

  


Senior Civil Project Manager Job Requirements:


* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
* Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
* 10+ years of experience managing a team of direct reports, managing project, and/or programs
* Ability to manage projects/programs independently.
* Self-motivated with a desire to deliver excellent client service.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency with MS Office.
