Backend Software Engineer - Casino Game Studio

*Fully Remote (Global) - Offices in Berlin*

*Salary: €55,000 - €75,000 depending upon experience*

Your Responsibilities:

* Develop innovative games and implement new features in our Game Backend Service.
* Take strategic responsibility for the software architecture of our Game Backend Service throughout the entire project lifecycle.
* Continuously improve the quality and structure of the Game Backend Service codebase.
* Design comprehensive test coverage, particularly in game-relevant and security-critical areas.
* Support the integration of new features into existing games and develop tool-based solutions to enhance workflows.
* Work using agile methodologies.

Your Profile:

* You have a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
* You have at least 4 years of professional experience in software development.
* You possess excellent knowledge of the Go programming language and, optionally, experience with Kotlin and Java.
* You have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
* You adhere to Clean Code principles and utilize design patterns.
* You have solid experience with modern software technologies such as GitLab, build pipelines, Docker, microservices, and REST.
* Ideally, you have knowledge of cloud computing and AWS.

Pay: 55.000,00€ - 75.000,00€ per year
