Job Description
We are a new Montessori child care center in Vallejo seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher for our team. The ideal candidate should be bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred but not required to have a strong background in early childhood development, and be enthusiastic about creating a nurturing, educational environment for toddlers. We are now hiring to finalize the team but the position will officially begin in January. \*\*Responsibilities:\*\* - Oversee daily operations of the Montessori child care center - Implement Montessori principles and curriculum - Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements - Lead and support staff - Maintain a safe, welcoming, and educational environment for children - Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the community - Develop and implement policies, procedures, and educational programs \*\*Qualifications:\*\* - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field a plus - Speak both in both Spanish and English (required) - Knowledge of Montessori philosophy and methods is a plus - Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills - CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) \*\*Benefits:\*\* - Competitive salary based on experience - Opportunities for professional development - A supportive, family-oriented work environment If you are a dedicated, bilingual professional with a passion for early childhood education and the Montessori approach, we’d love to hear from you! \*\*How to Apply:\*\* Please submit your resume, cover letter, and three professional references.
