Job Description
Housekeeping Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities Objective: Assisting the Director of Housekeeping in the smooth, efficient and cost effective running of the department maintaining the employees moral, focus and overall high spirits which contribute to the maximum quality of service and complete guest satisfaction This includes the following duties: * Ensure that the office is run effective and efficiently in both shifts * Ensure smooth guestroom floor operation and excellent guest services by all staff, room attendants/housemen * Ensure that guest requests are handled within the time stated by all team members * Ensure that the highest possible standard of cleanliness of the entire hotel and surrounding grounds is adhered to at all times * Ensure that work schedules documents are correct and completed in time * Ensure that cleaning and guest supplies are in good supply and waste is kept to a minimum. * Ensure that all items lost (misplaced) by guests and found by team members are securely stored and handled * Ensure that Public Area cleaning team is working effective and efficiently, inspect areas on daily basis * Attend any meetings as assigned by the DoH * Ensure that grooming standards are adhered to at all times * Ensure that HKP stores are properly stocked, kept tidy and locked at all times Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Employee discount * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Parental leave * Professional development assistance * Referral program * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Holidays * Night shift * Weekends as needed Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Work Location: In person
